Wittenberg
Martin Luther, the Reformation, and Europe

500 years ago, Europe was rocked by an obscure monk and university professor from a small college town in northern Germany.  The implications of Martin Luther's reformation inform the world we live in today to an extent that we are hardly aware of.  On a day trip to a town that maintains its quaint 16th century character, see where it all happened: a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Luther's home, the church where he regularly preached, and the famous door to which he nailed his 95 theses are all preserved (well, sort of).
